Fusion East Expanding To Glenmore Manor in Brownsville in 2026

Fusion East, the East New York restaurant known for Caribbean and soul food, is preparing to open a second Brooklyn location, this time in Brownsville.

Fusion East Brownsville is planned for 117 Glenmore Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11212, as part of the Glenmore Manor development at the intersection of Christopher Avenue and Glenmore Avenue.

Second Location Planned For 2026

The Brownsville outpost has been projected to open in 2026. The new space is expected to span about 5,100 square feet and offer dine-in service, takeout, catering, and a dedicated event area for private gatherings.

Dine-In, Catering, Full Bar, And Food Truck Option

According to plans for the site, the venue will feature Fusion East’s lunch, brunch, and dinner offerings, along with a full bar. The concept also includes a food truck option.

A Culinary And Community Hub In Brownsville

The restaurant is expected to serve as a new dining destination for Caribbean and soul food fans while also functioning as a local gathering place tied to Brownsville’s ongoing revitalization efforts.

Glenmore Manor Development Details

Glenmore Manor, led by Brisa Builders, Lemle & Wolff, and the African American Planning Commission, Inc. (AAPC)—is slated to bring 230 affordable homes to Brownsville for low-income families, seniors, and formerly homeless individuals.

The project also includes roughly 20,000 square feet of commercial and community space, with plans for a Brooklyn Cooperative Federal Credit Union branch, a locally owned salon, and facilities for the Central Brooklyn Economic Development Corporation (CBEDC), aimed at supporting small businesses, nonprofits, and programs for young entrepreneurs.
