Former CNN anchor Don Lemon was detained by federal authorities on Thursday evening, according to information from his attorney.
Lemon, age 59, was apprehended by federal agents in Los Angeles, where he had been reporting on the Grammy Awards, said his lawyer, Abbe Lowell, in a released statement.
The reason for Lemon’s arrest was not immediately released. Still, the Justice Department had previously pledged to seek charges against Lemon after he reported from a protest at a Minnesota church last week.
